Job Description: Job Purpose
The ROV Supervisor has an overall responsibility for the ROV operation under his immediate control and the safety of the ROV personnel directly involved in any operation under his command. The ROV Supervisor is responsible for all ROV works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner while also ensuring system performance & availability / up-time through timely executing of planned maintenance activities and repairs

Key Result Areas (Key Accountabilities) (max. 10)
•Ensures familiarization & training on the job for the ROV crew.
•Laisse with the diving Supervisor (when diving is involved) on all aspects of the works.
•Ensures that the ROV facilities remain available for use and to the appropriate standard.
•Maintain a culture supportive of HSE matters, demonstrating visible and active HSE leadership.
•Ensures that all ROV personnel understand and follow company policies, project task & procedures, risk assessments, safety and emergency related procedures.
•Ensures that all procedures and tasks are Risk Assessed.
•Conducts daily Toolbox Talks.
•Take appropriate action in the event of an emergency situation and take lead role where appropriate, and ensure the ROV team understands and review their role in case of an emergency situation.
•Check that the equipment they propose to use for any particular operation is adequate, safe, properly certified and maintained. They should ensure that the equipment is adequately checked by themselves or another competent person prior to use.
•Ensures quality of video recording including voice over and overlay, storage and back-up.
•Ensures correct and timely project administration and reporting (in company format only);
•Ensures correct and timely maintenance, maintenance administration and reporting.
•Provides input to ongoing competence assessment of personnel under supervision.
•Motivate personnel and ensure good teamwork.
•Reports and encourages incident and safety observation (STAR) reporting.
•Participates in project/operational progress meetings as required.
•First point of contact for all ROV related matters onboard the diving vessel.
•Plan, prepare for and carrying out of emergency procedures and ensure training therefor.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Job Related Competencies
Educational Qualifications:
•Documented demonstration of competence as a ROV Supervisor.
•Current valid certificate of passed offshore medical suitable and offshore survival course for geographical area of work.
Experience Profile:
•Signed logbook confirming experience of a minimum of 180 days as ROV Pilot Technician.
•4 years experience in the Subsea industry.
•Experience and skills in electronic / electrical / mechanical / hydraulics;

Competencies/Skills/Others:
•Interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence various parties / supporting functions.
•Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
•Good computer knowledge, skills in Microsoft products.
•Pro-active in supervisory style, heavy on innovation and improvements.
