Job Description: Job Summary
The cost Engineer is responsible for managing construction cost based on subcontract during EPC Project execution stage.
Key Responsibilities
Update subcontract status and summarize major changes for ongoing projects.
Be in charge of internal system to manage construction cost and instruct global staffs at site
Performs or supervises project cost control activities, improves internal managing process.
Calculate and record cost impact caused by change order.
Discover frequent change order with subcontractor to minimize grey zone between bidding and execution
Simulate subcontractor’s cash flow and verify bottle neck considering invoice status
Organize history of all claim, change order and back charge under subcontract
Experience
10+ years of experience in cost estimates and contracts. Project based experience within Oil and Gas industry or Petrochemical industry
Comprehensive knowledge of oil/gas/petrochemical or power plants construction issues and the cost/schedule/risk factors associated
Bachelor's degree in engineering major qualification
Influent in English
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
