- Provide technical assistance to all Affiliate métiers (Drilling and Workover, Production, Logistics, Marine, Construction, Maintenance, and Inspection) for the lifting operations and equipment.
- Provide technical support during procurement or hire of Affiliate lifting equipment or lifting service providers.
- Review and approve Critical Lifting Plans and attend the lift when required or ensure suitable delegation for supervision.
- Submit the lifting portfolio for lifting operations (LEVEL1) to OT/TL/TEC/SMA and OT/TL/OPS/LSO for review.
- Provide lifting expertise advice to all RSES/RSES-D and project managers, organize and conduct lifting reviews and audits for each Affiliate site and/or contractors on a yearly basis.
- Perform condition checks and fitness for purpose on lifting appliances/accessories, CCUs and evaluate their utilization on site.
- Seek assistance from OT/TL/OPS/LSO when CPLO’s competencies are not sufficient.
- Participate in all external lifting audits performed by OT/TL/OPS/LSO in their Affiliate.
- Review and implement ways to continually improve energy management in line with ISO 50001 requirements.
- Responsible for maintenance and development of methodology, rules, and instructions for lifting and handling operations.
- Issue and maintain the Affiliate Lifting Management System documents.
- Develop technical documents and procedures as per affiliate needs.
- Participate in the process of lifting derogations requested by Affiliate for deviation of Company Rule.
- Define the competencies required for SLS (as applicable) and advise RSES/RSES-D.
- Assess personnel competencies to conduct lifting operations within Affiliate perimeter.
- Define the lifting personnel training program if required.
- Develop and maintain an EP Lifting Specialists’ network as a team member for regular communication with all entities CPLOs, SLSs, OT/TL/OPS/LSO and OT/TL/TEC/SMA.
- Develop proper communication channels and define a clear Competence Management Plan for Affiliate Lifting personnel.
