Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all lifting, hoisting, and rigging operations onboard offshore installations and vessels.
- Ensure lifting equipment, rigging gear, and cranes are inspected, certified, and fit for use.
- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and lifting plan reviews prior to operations.
- Coordinate with crane operators, deck crews, and other departments to execute lifting activities safely.
- Monitor compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and lifting procedures.
- Investigate and report lifting-related incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Mentor and guide riggers to maintain competency and safe work practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–8 years of offshore lifting and rigging experience, including supervisory roles.
- Valid offshore certifications such as BOSIET/FOET, H2S, and relevant lifting/rigging certifications (Rigging level 3 or 4 certificate).
