Job Description: ROLE SUMMARY
The Environmental Manager will lead all environmental management activities for offshore marine
construction projects, particularly in the EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) oil and gas sector and act as country Environmental Manager for KSA. This role encompasses the planning, execution, and management of environmental impact assessments
(EIA), environmental monitoring, and compliance with environmental regulations. The
Environmental Manager will work closely with the project team, regulatory bodies, e.g. NCEC and
Saudi Aramco to ensure that all environmental policies and procedures are followed, with a strong focus on sustainable practices and minimizing the environmental footprint of offshore operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage all environmental aspects of offshore EPCI projects, ensuring compliance
with environmental regulations and company standards.
• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and develop environmental management
plans (EMPs).
• Oversee offshore environmental monitoring programs, including water quality, air quality, and
marine life assessments.
• Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented during offshore construction
activities.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and obtain environmental permits and approvals.
• Implement strategies to minimize the environmental impact of construction and marine
operations.
• Ensure compliance with international environmental standards such as, NCEC, MARPOL,
OSPAR, and local regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to project personnel on environmental responsibilities and best
practices.
• Report on environmental performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and
environmental incidents.
• Lead investigations into environmental incidents and ensure corrective actions are
implemented.
