A Subsea CRB (Cable Release/Retaining Bracket) Lead Installation Engineer oversees the offshore installation of subsea cables and umbilical systems, bridging the gap between project management and offshore execution. This senior role is critical for safe, cost-effective subsea hardware deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering Deliverables: Spearhead the creation of installation procedures, method statements, lifting and rigging studies, and sea-fastening designs.
  • Interface Coordination: Act as the main technical point of contact between structural, pipeline, and marine vessel teams.
  • Risk Mitigation: Participate in HAZID/HAZOP reviews, constructability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Client & Regulatory Liaison: Present technical solutions to clients, Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), and classification societies.
  • Offshore Support: Provide real-time engineering support during vessel load-outs, transits, and subsea deployments.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years in offshore installation engineering for marine EPC or oil and gas projects.
  • Core Skills: Proficiency in lifting/rigging analysis, subsea routing, cable handling equipment, and vessel operations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, or Offshore Engineering.
