Job Title: Subsea CRB Field Engineer

Job Description: Subsea Field Engineer responsible to work on crane or pipe-lay barges, supports offshore marine construction. Assist senior engineers by preparing lifting procedures, monitoring subsea equipment installation, and ensuring strict adherence to maritime safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Installation Engineering: Assist in reviewing project specifications and developing step-by-step methods for lowering subsea structures (e.g., manifolds, wellheads, umbilical’s) to the seabed.
  • Lifting & Rigging Support: Prepare load calculations and assist with deck operations, ensuring all heavy crane lifts comply with weight limits and safe distribution.
  • Site Supervision & Reporting: Monitor daily subsea installation progress, perform technical verifications in the field, and maintain accurate daily progress reports.
  • Interface Management: Act as a liaison between the vessel master, deck crew, crane operators, and senior offshore project management.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce international offshore safety regulations, assist with risk assessments, and participate in emergency response and lifeboat drills. [6, 8, 9]
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Ocean, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Certifications: Valid offshore survival certificates like BOSIET/OPITO, and a current offshore medical fitness certificate.
  • Core Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD/3D modeling software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings and diagrams.
