Job Description:
MISSION
Fabrication and installation techniques
Familiarity with fabrication and installation techniques
in order to: - ensure effective inter-function relationships in the entire EPIC chain - understand and follow compliance with project requirements - correctly define the quality and timing of deliverables (engineering and procurement) - correctly define the quality and timing of deliverables (engineering and procurement) - monitor deviation from planned workflow and deliverables reception, correctly activating the management of change process to implement the best corrective actions (to support fabrication at site and grant correct project execution).
Offshore Construction
Familiarity with techniques and timing of Offshore
Construction in order to:
- ensure effective inter-function relationships
- effectively interpret project requirements
- correctly define the quality and timing of engineering deliverables
Engineering changes
Capability to support the Project management
functions in individuating and documenting any potential changes and variation orders to be potentially presented to Client for acceptance
Engineering design and review
Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria,
methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to define the technical documents set based on Project quantities and scope of work. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either internally or by Vendors.
Capability to manage all the interdisciplinary reviews
needed to define and optimize the concerned engineering system.
- Manage, supervise Sealine and Subsea project process/engineering activities related to Sealine system design, deep-water
- subsea-umbilical- riser-flowline system design, installation methods and procedures; Platform/pipeline installation and installation Aids according to contract requirements and project objectives
- Ensure time cost quality project objectives are met, through direct coordination and management of project engineering team and close coordination with the relevant engineering product line central function
- Cooperate and support project managers/directors in defining, monitoring and updating project execution plans promoting an active interaction with project team key
